Our one-year program offers a flexible commitment filled with meetings, events, and outreach. Dive into a fun, engaging journey that cultivates global connections and strengthens community ties.   • To be considered for the IMSTL program as a mentor, applicants must meet the following requirements:

    1. Status: Applicants must be local women.

      - American women who are local to the area or who have moved from another state.

      - International women who have lived in the area for at least five years.

    2. Residency: Applicants must live in the St. Louis bi-state region. 

    3. Personal Qualities:

      - Social and outgoing

      - Kind and considerate

      - Culturally sensitive

      - Friendly and approachable

      - Respectful and courteous

    4. Transportation & Financial Capability: Applicants must have their own means of transportation and be able to cover the costs of extra-curricular activities.

    5. Time commitment: Applicants must commit to at least 20-30 hours spread out through the one-year program.

    6. Age: must be 25 years old or above.

Our program offers a one-of-a-kind experience, providing international community support that empowers you to grow and thrive. We’ll make you feel right at home. Embark with us on this journey, embrace growth, and discover your community with us in St. Louis.

  • To be considered for the IMSTL program as a mentee, applicants must meet the following criteria:

    1. International Status: Applicants must be foreign-born women (newcomers or moved here up to five years ago).

    2. Residency: Applicants must live in the St. Louis bi-state region with intent to stay in the region.

    3. Visa Requirements: Applicants must possess a permanent or long-term visa. Student visas are not accepted.

    4. Transportation and Financial Capability: Applicants must have their own means of transportation and be able to cover the costs of extra-curricular activities.

    5. Educational Background: A minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent from their home country or the US is required.

    6. Language Proficiency: Applicants must have sufficient English language skills to communicate effectively.

    7. Soft Skills:

      - Social and outgoing

      - Kind and considerate

      - Culturally sensitive

      - Friendly and approachable

      - Respectful and courteous

    8. Time commitment: Applicants must commit to at least 20-30 hours spread out throughout the one-year program.

    9. Age: Applicants must be 25 years old or above.
